Historical Timeline: The Siddhivinayak Ganapati Temple is a two-century-old temple. It was originally built in 1801.

Location: It is located in the city of Mumbai in the Prabhadevi area, on the corner of Kakasaheb Gadgil Marg and S.K.Bole Marg .

Timings:  Wednesday to Monday – 5.30 am to 9.50 pm         Tuesday – 3.15 am to 12 midnight

Deity:  Lord Shri Ganesh is the deity of this temple. Shree Ganesh, the son of Lord Shiva, is known as Vighnaharta, or the destroyer of obstacles. He is the first to be worshipped before the beginning of any new project or venture. In this temple he is known as Siddhivinayak or the one who grants wishes.

Accessibility route: Siddhivinayak temple is close to Dadar railway station which falls on the central, western and harbour lines of the Mumbai suburban railways.
