The present structure of the temple was built between 1998 and 2003. To give it an impression of being carved out of a single rock, it has been constructed with a special kind of stone called the Agra Red Stone. The new structure is based on the ancient temple architecture of India. The temple has a sanctum in which the idol is placed. This is topped with a shikhar. In front of it is the hall known as the Sabhamandap. This hall has a pyramidal roof while its ceiling is beautifully carved. The main entrance of the temple lies to the north and is a magnificent structure. Just in front of main gate there is a large bronze idol of a mouse, which sits facing the gate. This is the Mushak or the vehicle of Lord Ganesha. It is believed that if anyone has a wish then he or she can whisper it in the ears of the Mushak and pray, and Lord Ganesha answers the prayer. On both sides of the main gate, there are statues of two elephants with raised trunks, as if they are standing there to welcome the devotees. The temple has towering lamp-tripods in both the south and the north directions. These lamps are lit on full moon nights. The temple has been so constructed that every year between 2nd and 8th February and from 2nd to 8th November, golden rays of the sun fall on the Ganesh idol at the time of sunset, through the door on the west. Just beside the temple there is the Samadhi of Bhide, the founder of this temple.
When one comes out of main gate, at a short distance on the Pradakshinapath, there are two pillars on which rows of vertical lamps (Deepmala) are lighted. There is also another small structure with a dome in which an idol is installed. This is known as Morya Deo.
