Dream Fulfilment

A Brahmin by the name of Balbhatji Bhide, who was the renter of the village during the Mughal period, was doing penance in the jungle near the present temple. He had a dream in which Lord Ganesh appeared and told him that he has come to Aagargule (Ganesh Gule) to fulfill the wishes of his devotees. He told Bhide that the hill was his 'nirakar' form (Void form), and that he should continue to worship there so that he could be relieved of all his difficulties. A little later Bhide discovered the Swayambhu idol of Lord Ganesha here and thus established the temple at Ganapatipule.
