Accessibility route: The temple can be accessed through the suburban railways of Mumbai. Charni Road is the station which is closest to the temple on the western line, from where one can either walk, or take a cab or a bus to the temple. On reaching the temple one has to climb a flight of stone steps, a total of 110, to reach the main shrine. There is an elevator too, which operates from 6 in the morning to 10 in the night, closing only for half an hour, from 2 to 2.30 p.m., for lunch.
