The anointing of the Shivalinga with water or the ‘Jalabhishek’ is also done here. The temple has made special arrangements for the supply of water for this purpose. There is also a tradition of anointing the Shivalinga with honey, along with the chanting of the Laghurudra, to seek blessings for good health.
