The temple runs the Shree Babulnath Geeta Pathsheela where, since 1980, sermons and brief ideas on religious books such as the Gita are delivered every Saturday.  The main priest of the temple also imparts religious education to the children of the temple staff and children of Brahmins for one hour. This includes prayers such as the Rudrapath, Mahimna Stotra, Nityapuja, and Chandipaath.
