In its earliest days the main deity of this temple was Lord Shree Ramachandra. A portrait of the god was installed in the main hall of the temple in 1923. In successive decades, stone idols of Lord Ram, his wife Sitadevi, brother Lakshman, and Ram’s ardent devotee Hanuman, were installed, which were eventually encased in gold. Later on the idols of other Gods such as Guruvayoor, Kartikeya, Swami Ayyappa and the Navagraha idols were installed.
