Offerings

default

Several offerings such as prayers, sand mandala, and Tormas, are made in front of the statue of Buddha for the accumulation of merit. Tormas are figures made out of flour and butter and dyed in different colors, such as white or red. They are usually conical in shape. They are used for purposes of making an offering to the deity or as a food item to be consumed by the devotees.
