One can get the view of the whole structure of the monastery from its main gate. There are Mani wheels or prayer wheels, which are built all around the walls of the monastery. A two storeyed building is to the left of the main gate. The ground floor is the “Prayer Hall” which was built in 1938. The “Annex Meditation Hall” was constructed under the supervision of the managing committee of monastery, 1989-90. The Meditation Hall is on the top floor of the monastery. Next to the building is another two storied house. The top floor serves as the quarter of the head lama. At the back of this quarter is “The Prayer Wheel Hall” which is in fact a small house. To the left of the monastery is “Chhomay Lhakang”, a small house, constructed by the managing committee of the monastery in 1993-1994.
