Worship
There are three types of rituals that are performed in the Jagannath temple. These are the following:
(a) Daily rituals or 'nitis' which are fixed and are observed every day
(b) Special rituals which are performed on certain days (i.e. Thursday, Amabasya, Ekadasi & Naksyatra Bandapana etc).
(c) Rituals which are done during the various festivals which are held during the year
