Devotional Music: The image of Jagannath is taken to the Rasa mandapa (a temple hall) of the Gundicha Temple where hymns from the Gita Govinda are sung for the last 3 days of his stay in the temple. These verses portray the Rasa Lila of Lord Krisha which is connected with his interaction with the cow-maids or the gopis. In the olden days, Devadasis sang the verses, but now they are sung by the temple servitors of the Gundicha temple

Dance: Odissi and Gotipua dances are traditionally associated with the temple. During the return journey of the Rath yatra dancers serenade the Gods to the tune of music in front of the chariots.  Also, martial art performers do the banati, or a traditional martial art, in front of the deities.
