Masjid is a place of worship for the followers of Islam, who assemble here to offer Salat or prayers. Prayers are offered five times a day in the Masjid. These are Fajr (dawn prayer), Zhuhr (early afternoon prayer), Asr (late afternoon prayer), Maghrib (sunset prayer) and the last one Isha’a (night prayer). All the five-time prayers are offered in the Masjid. After the Friday’s Zhuhr prayer 'Shirni' (sweet sugar balls) is given to the devotees in the form of Tabarruk (blessed food).
