It is also known as the Mani, and is considered as the collective wisdom of all the Buddhas which is manifested as sound. This mantra is superior to all the other kinds of mantras, such as Vidya mantras, dharanis, and secret mantras. It is said that reciting the Mani even once is the same as reciting all of Buddha’s teachings.
