Vajrakilaya Tordok ceremony is performed from 27th day to 29th day of the 10th lunar month. The purpose of the ceremony is to dispel the hurdles of all sentient beings. It is done in accordance with the terma, Vajrakilaya ritual of Yang Sang Pudi. It was started by the treasure master Guru Chowang and later revived by Terdag Lingpa.
Every year, for seven days, beginning on the 10th day of the 1st lunar month a grand ceremony Vajrasattva Drubcho is held. This ceremony is performed to purify the negativities of human beings. On the 6th day of the ceremony, the monastery holiness, along with the entire sangha, performs a special ceremony for those who have died within the previous year.
Another famous ceremony, Yamantaka Tordok, is performed from the 23rd day of the 12th lunar month to the last day of the year in order to dispel all the hurdles for the coming year.
