Each year Ganesh Festival, Shardiya Navaratri festival, and Ayyapa Pooja is held in the temple. There is a non-stop recitation of the holy book, Ramcharitamanas, in the temple during the Navaratri festival. Along with the Gayatri havan many other activities are held in the temple. There is a banyan tree inside the temple premises where married Hindu women do the Vat-Savitri Pooja. The residents of the IIT Bombay campus and those living in the area of Powai attend these festivals.
